The Tv is DLP with 3LCD chips (one for each color)  And I absolutely love it.  I had to let my 3 year old watch Rudolph last night before he went to bed and the friggin raindeer was lifesize.  well, almost.
I got it for $1,400.
as for being a $ony brand item, sorry M$.  This was the best looking tv that was in my price range.  The 3LCD chip design helps with the brightness and contrast.  I can finally watch football and hockey the way it should be watched.
Now to just get a buddy over for co-op GOW......

Nice TV, 2 HDMI inputs ohmy.gif you are PS3 ready and if the 360 ever has a HDMI cable/adapter you could plug it in the second one biggrin.gif. Nice that it's 1080p as well, remember to set your 360 to 1080p biggrin.gif.

If I ever can afford a 360 I will be hooking it up to my 19" widescreen monitor that does 720p widescreen I don't even want to hook it up to my TV.

I've got that setup with the monitor in my sig Bucko, looks amazing. Not as good as Jabronie's setup I'm sure, but definetly nice.

I swear that's not LCD. There's no LCD that big. I recommend you get component cables instead of HDMI cause the picture in HDMI looks blocky and digitalized. Components have sharper pictures.

well seing as how hdmi is all digital, I would expect a more digital look.  I thought that HDMI is hands down the best connection to have.
