Hey!

I'm trying to build a database of xbox 1 ss.bin files, I've searched all over the internet and have browsed all the usual places. I've found at least 5 good dbs of ss.bins online, but all of them are for xbox 360 games only.

The xbox is still very much alive! as many would agree with me, there are awesome titles like unreal series to name one, that the 360 doesn't even have yet.

If you've done either the 360 fw hack or the xbox 1 fw hack, you have all the tools you need to rip ss.bin files from retail xbox games.

The ss.bin is the same whether you have the 360 hack or the xbox 1 fw hack, as long as its the same game, same region.

I'm looking for ntsc xbox  1 ss.bin files, each are about 2kb.

If you have ANY, please help me in building this db by replying which games you have, then I will send you a pm of a private ftp server where you can upload them.

I can see how you're trying to help, but downloading, requesting, and hosting security sectors is not legal, whether you claim to own them or not.

You are only allowed to extract them from your own game discs.

I'd have to agree. I believe that since they are technically part of the game data on the disc, you should not be in posession of them unless you own the game in which case you can rip them yourself even though it might be a pain. If you still feel that it should be allowed, I suggest you contact an admin on the subject but I doubt that they'll take their chances with something like this.
