500 Gb Hd Having Issues In My Xbox. O_o

Jinn

I checked the link you provided, but it really didn't give me a clear answer. After a few hours of scrounging around I have found the answer to all of my questions except the big one

Can a 750 gig drive be put into an xbox and still have all of the data accessible?

What I've read is it is possible using xbox partitioner and swithign the cluster size to 32 allowing 512 gb partitions, however I've also read that xpartioner will set the F partition to only 137 gb, and put the rest on G. After doing the math, the rest is like 595 gigs...rendering over 80gigs unusable. Is there a way of putting those 80+gigs on the f drive. I really don't give a hootie-ramus if the F and G drives are equally seperated. I just want to ensure that I'll be able to access all of the space on the machine.

Yes, you can install a 750 GB hard drive in your Xbox.

One way you could do this would be to use XBPartitioner to create a 512 GB (or smaller) F drive, and format the remaining free space as a G drive. Each partition would automatically be formatted with 32 KB clusters.

Have you tried this?
What BIOS are using?
What are the settings of your BIOS?

Everyone says the same thing use XBPartitioner and I have.
I have tried several BIOS and I come to the same problem.
Can't split F & G into Equal parts or make F larger than 127GB.
So at the moment I have to say "NO, you can not install a 750GB HardDrive"
