if I switch out the western digital hdd for a seagate one will it work.
and if does the version xbox the hdd was in matter or do they all work the same.

basically i modded it using the 007 exploit, installed a few programs and then i started messing around with it. I was testing out a new bios file that i had made for a friend and i flashed it again. i went bak to the evox bios files and accidentally selected the wrong one and wen i turned bak on i got the red and green lights

so basically im gonna buy one from ebay but need to kno if a hdd from a diff. version xbox will work, or if the seagate will work..need something ASAP

your hard drives are married to your motherboards through eeproms.....its kinda difficult to just swap a hd u gotta get your eeprom first then some programs like xboxhdm ....there i pointed u in the direction go learn read and dont ask alot of questions till u obtain your eeprom
