ok a little background, i have a softmodded xbox that i've upgraded the drive on several times.
i just used xbhdm to clone a 160gb maxtor to a 250gb wd. it took forever but i expected that.
so i put it in my xbox and got error 05. i guess i forgot to lock it, so i put it back on the pc and locked it with option 3 on xbhdm.
i didn't pay attention to if there was an error message but when i put it back in my xbox i got error 06. i used the same cd to lock my 160gb back and its working fine.
i used the right eeprom for sure because its the cd i lock/unlock all the drives for my xbox with.
i can't unlock it with xbhdm and when i try atapwd in the dos tools i get some kind of command rejected mesage when i try the master password.
the only thing i can see different about this drive is that it in xbhdm unlocking utilities under "security locked" it says yes. i haven't had any other drive ever say yes on that before.
so am i out of luck and the drive is useless or is there something i can do? also is this just some kind of
random glitch in xbhdm that might have locked something wrong or is the issue with a bad clone or the drive?
