well you have grungey backround, and its not really a grungey picture sooo i would suggest maybe doing a pixel stretch. Also maybe add some scanlines and a border?

Make sure the Cars logo is centered and add some grungy or techy background.  I'm not a big fan of that stuff but some people like it.  I'm more a fan of clean stuff.

You can create scanlines by creating a new pattern.

Ok.

Open a new document.

Make it 1 pixel wide x 2 pixels high and make sure the background is transparent.

You should now have a very small rectangle in a new window.  Zoom in.

Now use the pencil change color to black and add one pixel to the top half of the rectangle.

You should now have something like this:

Ok now go to Edit>Define Pattern...

and name it Horizontal Scanlines and press ok.

You can close the 1x2 pixel document.

Now open your cars document and you can add them two ways.

1. Create a new layer then goto Edit>Fill...
and set it to pattern and select the Horizontal Scanlines.

2.  Or you can select a layer that is already made and goto Layer>Layer Style>Pattern Overlay and select the Horizontal Scanlines there.  I like this one cuz you do get a little more control but it only applies to the layer you selected.

Then all you do is mess with the settings like opacity and the layer blending modes and off you go!  Hope this helps.

Bahh newbie beat me too it.  lol

Your cars seem washed out. It appears you've got the hang of pixel stretching though...but doesn't it look like a scarf? I dont personally like the scarf effect. I know making that border took some time...but I don't think it looks very good with the rest of the piece. Again ur cars look squished... I'm just not feeling it bro...

I hope you take crit. well, cause Im laying it on...but I'm trying to help smile.gif
