Ok guys well pretty soon me n haz will have Digi-Design up and running once again with a better host and a HOMEPAGE yippie, We may or may not open it till the homepage is done, but here's a few questions for you guys
  • What are some improvements you would like to see.
  • How does a splash page sound now that we have a home page.
  • Are you addicted to DD?(hehe)

I agree with metal also.  If you put it in that's fine I'll just link to the forum directly so ehhh.

Are you addicted to DD?
Very much so.  It's kinda boring now that it's down.  It's a gathering place to see or read familiar faces...errr avatars.  Oh and don't tell Jake2K but I think he has a Dew Drinking problem. tongue.gif

       well, maybe add some more sections devoted to certain subjects, like maybe programming, console/pc gaming specific sections, etc ect

        no, i hate splash pages. theyre so annoying, instead of a flash page maybe make like a menu like have some news on the front, have a section with members bios, like people can put their pics up at, tell about themselves, etc.

       perhaps, its a good site, seems like everyone gets along, we help people with their gfx, they dont get mad when people try to help, they take the criticism very well. and you can joke around with out making anyone mad... tongue.gif

a place for stuff we make. Sorta like metal said.. we got the member gallery but we dont wanna junk it up making new post everytime we make something new. Need sorta like a general area for everyday type stuff made and we can just add them to the galleries.

i kinda liked the splash page. Not to many pages use that anymore. Plus that one is clean and very classy. Just dont do sound!!!!!! just got a thought maybe that can be a contest or something like "DD splash contest" and rotate it every week,2 weeks, or month. hehe:D

yes its a great site with alot of helpful and awesome stuff. Also you guys worked like crazy to make it look nice and be a cool place biggrin.gif ty

It would be cool if you had a splash screen that changed to show diff. holidays or special events(b-days, site news, etc.)

ok guys, DD should up really soon. as of now, there's not alot we can do to it, becuase the DNS nameservers still need to propagant(aka. the domain needs to switch over to the new host). and since we have little-to-no control over how long that process takes, we're kind of stuck here. i'm thinking that the whole process should complete sometime tonight, which would be great.

as for the splash page, we might just scrap it, since all they really tend to be used for, is when that site doesn't have a homepage.and for those of who have inquired, the homepage will be just a simple html(or possibly php) page, that will just have news and what not on it. maybe we'll incorporate SOTW with it, and we'll put the winner's sig up on the main page or something like that.
also thanks for all of the comments and what not here, we love to have you guys helping out! and i really hope to get this baby up and running again.
