I was thinking about borrowing one of w1k's themes: band name literalism. The idea is that you take a band with a peculiar name (not RHCP, Ice-T or Ice Cube; those are too easy) and manip their name without using text. For instance, to show Blind Melon, you could manip a cantelope with sunglasses and a walking stick. For ICP, you could manip a bunch of clowns in straightjackets on horseback (maybe riding backwards for maximum insanity LOL).

Seeing the resurgence of interest in photomanipulation from saunders' thread (link), I intend to bring back PMCs. I was thinking about running two contests side-by-side. One contest will be for beginner/intermediate 'shoppers, and the other one will be for the advanced group. It's not up to me to decide who goes in what group. That's your decision. If you feel like you can handle the advanced contest, by all means, enter it. Just know that photorealism will play a big role in the voting. That's not to say that the beg/int contest will be a breeze; it'll still require you to put your skills to the test to blow away the competition.

I'll start these contests after the voting starts in saunders' thread.

For the beg/int contest, I was thinking of doing another "dream vehicle" theme because the first one was such a huge success. For the advanced PMC, I'm thinking about a "make-a-Transformer" theme. It could be one from the actual series, or it can be your own creation.
