Well, the Xombe thing dates back to my first US Robotics 28.8-er and an AOL account.  The significance has grown over the years for various reasons and in various ways.  

The diazepam, is another story.  There's a post in The Dump about it, if you can find it. I'm not rehashing it here.

I thought it'd be an interesting avatar as like playing games/modding can be addictive and fun like a drug, but to be done in moderation (no pun) lest you become a sluggish... zombie.  Gotta stay focused in the real world and make it to the gym to work out three times a week, etc.

Yada yada yada...

So, your text is really cool iffy, but to energetic for my theme.  Nice border though.  Maybe drop shadows on the pills covering the bottom border?

ag's simplicity is also nice. Outlaw's take on the X logo is unique.  Perhaps the background could be more of a pale blue instead of purplish (that's how it looks here)?

 I'm using my other computer right now...running Knoppix and using Konqueror as the browser; and it looks great.  The colors look right.  There is a huge difference between the two machines.      Just IMO.

If for no reason other than that I don't like the 5th pill getting chopped off in the other 3, I like this one the best.. just clean up the few pixels of white space under the border on the bottom

Also, try and use a hard edged brush around the 2 pills that go over the bottom border.. the fuzzy edge on there now doesn't work as well as a well done hard edge would on solid backgrounds. And.. you may want to try adding drop shadows on those two as well.

As for text.. If you're going to do the white highlight thing (which I like), then definitely go with dark text over lighter text... Similarly, if you were to do a shadow (like I had in my example above), go with lighter text.

Not to be a pill (har-har), but that black text and white background gives me a headache. I thought you were going for a mellow feel.
