Hi, i already posted this on the team-xecutor forum but thought it would be better here. Basically, the dvd drive wont read discs anymore.

I have a modded xbox with a 160 gig hard drive and a Xectuter 2 mod-chip. For a while everything was working fine. Recently, when i plug in the IDE cable connecting the dvd drive to the hard drive, it takes ages to boot up and then goes to a black screen, if i leave it, it then tries to re-boot and after a couple of attempts crashes out and displays a 'error 21'. If i plug the IDE cable in AFTER i boot up, it just refuses to read whatever disc i put in there. Is this a DVD drive problem? should i go get another dvd drive or is the problem something else?
