X2 Custom Boot Logo Request
« on: May 28, 2006, 07:27:00 PM »

Specs: Custom Boot Logo (180x50 256 Color BMP stored on E: drive as x2logo.bmp)

The one I made is generally horrific.  If anyone can make me one that is a deep reddish orange color and has the text "radin" in it without the quotes those are my only two requirements.   I guess if you need some sort of theme for it just have it be xbox or xbmc related.  thanks for anyone who responds./

It can't be a masterpiece.  Its meant to be really small and basic, usually just a name and some texture.

@DrumMasterFlash :  I think that is enough to go on, but thats just me. You dont have to ram it down their throats.

I can take a crack at this... so do you want a grunge sort or style or like a modern glossy style?

Sorry i didn't realize the image was so small, i though i hade to make a big image just improvising hoping he would like it. Sorry wasn't trying to sound rude.

Btw great images awal. Love that first one.

awal, those are awesome.  Just further proof my artistic creativity is lacking.
I like the two different styles.  The first one, not as classy, I probably like a little better, but the second one may match the xbmc PMIII skin that'll load up right after.

Great work, really appreciate it.

edit: yea i think i'll use logo2.bmp.  I like the text in all caps better and that background matches the x logo I use better too.

cool, even more.  good job on that one.  Well since this xbox isn't for me but rather a friend of mine, I'll load one up as the x2logo.bmp, then the other two I'll have be x2logo1.bmp and x2logo2.bmp.

Then what I can do is write a python script so that everytime xbmc starts it renames the files switching which one is named x2logo so basically on every boot it'll be a different x2logo.  That'll be pretty cool.  Let me look into that make sure i can do it.

yea, i had the same problem, photobucket would save it as a .jpg and imageshack would save it as a png.
Dunno why though.
