ok so i just installed the director 8.5 trial. Im using it for my uni work... but everytime i create a text box the thing just exits..grrr

i dont know if anyone here uses director but if anyone does and if anyone had had this problem please let me know if there is a fix...unfortunatly i HAVE to use 8.5.

Is Director a movie editing program? If so would you mind linking me to some info about it. I've been looking for a new video editing program, althought I do have some good ones such as Vegas.

not to be a whore of adobe products the adobe premier pro/after effects combo hasnt been beaten in my book and i have used a bunch (we had a professional studio at my HS)

I have premier pro on my other computer. I haven't taken the time to get familiar with it thought. It seems like a great program, though confusing.

i wouldnt give adobe that much praise, they do have a wonderful array of media editing programs. but if im not mistaken a good portion are buy ups where they keep functionality the same but make it adobe family friendly.

they are kinda like EA but they keep functionality and rich options alive
