I looked at the desktop.. and I got a headache from it. Too much crap on that desktop. I think desktops like that are what inspire people to make new shells to minimize the clutter.

My daily habits are to work on the desktop.. then shovel all the end results into the documents folder each night..

wat i can tell from ur desktop is that u like bee's and amazing video's really means porn and u plan to hack the firmware good luck on that

What makes you think it's empty?  No, I actually am La Especialista (de Guadalajara, for all you Destinos fans out there), the Spansh Specialist.  So, if you are nice enough to me, I may release a little somthing...
Amazing Videos was meant to be filled with... amazing videos (like the Striker Video from Geometry Wars).  Unfortunately, I am very difficult to amaze and the folder remains empty.
Videos was for a project we did.  Record the video on Hi-8.  Burn to DVD.  Rip DVD to Computer.  Find program to edit DVD (took HOURS).  Put video on flash drive.  Burn DVD on father's laptop.  Try to figure out whyDVD is so jumpy.  Get other program to burn DVD that can't burn .vobs.  It was horrible.  I left out all the other steps and obscenities.

_iffy... AirSnare monitors wireless activity (and wired) either through a wireless card or through a computer connected to a wireless router (in my case) via ethernet cable.  It gives MAC addresses, IPs, and some other information.  I just had it to dick around.  Also, all this stuff doesn't have a home, so it goes to the desktop to die (then gets deleted several months later).  As to the Prices On Bagels.txt, the duties of a Class President never end (but that is another HUGE story).
As to the Media Players, they SHOULD soon be gone.  I got Kazaa Klite Codec pack a month or so ago, but haven't gotten around to deleting everything else.  Plus I just like to let installers sit there.

X-S is always fullscreen, so I don't even see it.

EDIT:
I just deleted 2 gig off of my desktop and moved a bunch of stuff.  I now have 2 icons, My Computer and Recycle Bin.  HSD, I'm going to try that theme.

It's built from the BitComet engine.  It's also the only one that works for me sad.gif

Didn't anyone even LOOK at my desktop?

Sorry CattyKid; blink.gif but it's awfully cluttered.  But if that's the way you like it....rock on.  I should clean my up too.  But that's something for me to do on a rainy day.

I DO like LuridSpectre's theme.  Not necessarily the chick; but I like the taskbar and the window colors.  Lurid; where did you get it?

Here is todays background....but I change it frequently.

huh.gif Doesn't anybody use TweakUI anymore?  For one thing it's a cool utility; but I like my icons "cleaned up" without the"arrows".  Just my preference I guess.

I've never gotten why people need so much crap on their desktop.

still simple and clean.. but inspired but the livecard.net gamercard. (had to turn on web desktop though.. it's not a big deal.. this machine is more than capable of running that hog..) But it is nice to have a gamercard that doesn't make your eyes bleed or contrast too heavily..

In case you guys don't know.. even the simplest program like MS PAINT can resize those gigantic images to something more reasonable..

People keep asking me to add a filter to XS forums to prevent crazy huge pics from being displayed.. looking more and more like something I'll add..

I'm with you HSD....is it too much trouble to downsize an image? blink.gif  huh.gif  I mean really.  Come on folks; we all should try to excercise a little decorum.

I post more than my fair share of huge pics.. but it's a habit I'm curbing. I figure.. even the 640 wide ones are huge in some circumstances.. but that's the compromize I'll make.. and I can always link to my huge ass ones.
