heres another one took about 15-20 min well here it is prob crappy to yall to the left of the head it looks like theres another head there isnt it is multiple clicks of the the grunge brush which made the head looking shawdow figure you see

Maybe you would want to make the entire shadow, not just part of it?  Also, you might want to do a color balance or hue/saturation, as the render REALLY blends into the background, like, a lot.  Unless that is the effect you wanted, then I would change it.

You could use drop shadow, as well, to make the shadow.

te sigs are nice, but you arent matching the colours of your brushing with colours in your sig, ie: with a white MC use some white brushing and lightly brush over it with other colours

heres one i made for some1 else with the same pic of the MC

not a sig but avatar which one looks better does anybody know why when you save it as a jpg ps adds a white background png white background also when i save it as a gif no white bg but looks like shit

when you make a new image in PS make sure you select Transparent for the backround, if you save it as a png like that, there shouldnt be a white backround

And I like the second Avatar better, the text is more readable and it looks better in general.

Save it as a .png and you should be able to create a transparent background.

its not when you are saving it that you select transparent, its when you are making it

when you make a new document
file>new
and you have the option of selecting the size and whatever else, there should be a drop downbox that gives you the option of having either a white, transparent, or coloured background
