IS it just me or did this place upgrade to invision 2.1 within the last minute or so  ohmy.gif

Well...i like 2.1 it looks nice.

Anyways.

I wonder if HS would let us design a skin for the scene. You know what i mean? Redesign the macros, and the buttons, and the CSS style sheet. Make a really nice skin for the scene to thank them for putting in this great section  smile.gif

I wonder if anyone would use it?

the server is always going to be packed. This is the biggest forum ive ever seen. It really takes top of the line hosting to run something like this.

Well if everyone is down for designing a skin we need to decide who is going to tackle what.

We need things like a project manager, someone to fix the CSS style sheet, a test board, some one to design the macros (buttons, images, such as the reply button) Someone to design a banner of some sort. A lot of work goes into designing a skin. I tried it on my own a while back and almost finished the buttons but got bored of the one man environment.  laugh.gif

The only thing is that we'd need a lot of time and access to the Admin CP.

EDIT- nevermind, your post answered my question.

we wouldnt really need access to this ACP. Ive got a board that we could test the skin on. We could just release like a normal skin so its a plug-in type deal....just like installing any other skin.

bandwidth isnt the problem - server load is.  The forum server has been split between 2 dual CPU boxes for a while, and another upgrade is underway..
