I'll play, but whose sig will I be making? Will it be for a random member that requested one, the person making the sig (in my case: myself), or will it be a sig without a username? I do not think it should be a "username-less" sig, however, because that would make it too easy for some one to rip off the artist. It'd be terrible to see someone's hardwork abused, in countless forum boards, because it wasn't tagged.

Also, remember that this is one of the least visited forums on this site, and things might not ever stick to schedule. But like I said, I'm in. Keep me posted.

i think there should be a score board. like a pinned topic wich has the rules if any and once a week awal wil post the winner and the sig in the pinned LOCKED topic. that way all can see.

just to add awal, if all goes acording to plan. you might want to start up a photobucket or simular account dedicated spicificaly for this. that way you dont get a pinned topic with a bunch of removed pics incase the person who oridanly presented the sig delets it.

Or you wouldnt have to do a topic or subject like each week, instead you could just do exactly that sig of the week whoever has just the best sig in others opionions, whether its a grunge sig or a abstract sig one would win, just no set topic.

I can make an exception and break my rule of not doing Halo sigs for this contest. We don't necessarily have to include everything he mentioned. We can if we want, or we can combine some of his suggestions to suit our styles/mood. He said he likes God, but I'm not sure if he'd get a kick out of Master Chief sportin' a halo over his head. Get it? Although, I think that's pretty clever. Nobody steal that. That's now copyrighted.

We should start immediately. I think you, Awal (since it was your idea), should start a new thread and give a summary of what we're gonna do in that thread. Then, come back to this one and post a link to the "sig contest" thread. After you're done with that, you should lock this thread so people won't post any entries in this one accidentally. And since you will already have posted the link to the right thread, they won't have any trouble finding it.

You should specify in the new thread how long you're gonna allow people to submit a sig. I think a week, like you first mentioned, is a fair amount of time for everyone to submit a sig. But for this first one, I think we should have it for only 2 to 3 days so everyone who wants to "play" can get their feet wet. Not to mention, we can get a feel for how we're gonna do it, and we can learn from some mistakes that will occur, relatively quickly, as opposed to going for the full week head first. After that, we can have the luxury of a week for successive contests.

Theme ideas (of course, nothing going against X-S rules):

1. First party Nintendo titles (Mario, Zelda, Starfox, etc.)
2. Xbox-exclusive (Fable, Halo, Jade Empire, etc.)
3. Big-boobed girls (drool...)
4. Girls with big butts
5. Action movie (Matrix, Equilibrium, etc.)
6. Comedy (not limited to movies)
7. Horror (also, not limited to movies)
8. Grunge or Fractal
9. Actors/Actresses
10. Musicians

I can think of more, but this is a good start for now.

I added the Hall of Fame to the Welcome thread.

Polls were removed because of abuse, so that option is out.

I was thinking one thread which would only be for entries until the dead line, Then I would update the first post with the entries and people could vote by picking one of the entries, then I could update the post to reflect the votes.

1.  As for nameless sigs you can still tag sigs without anybody other than the designer knowing (either by hidden highlight or micro marks) rippers will rip regardless.
2. Just for my vote I think cowboys sotw ideas are terrible. (god,baseball and H2?)
3. For any examples, just go to Gamerenders.com forums and look at how they have their SOTW section set up. Very user friendly.

Also perhaps you should make it to where the winner either gets something special (like a custom title or something) or allow the winner to select the next weeks SOTW theme.
