I learned PS easily from the tutorials found on the EMP forums... (link in my signature). I learned a lot from there. Click on the "My Gallery" link in my sig and you can see the transformation. Photoshop can be fun when you know what you are doing. If you are going to try and create text that looks like the Doom logo, you gotta include the Doom colors, too. Get some brushes from Deviantart.com.

If you guys could make me a sig, I would appreciate it so much.
If it's good, I'll try and look for my Xbox Live trial card that came with Halo 2 and I'll give it to you if you want it. Not usre if I can find it or if it's valid, but I can try, right?
If you decide to make one for me, could you please include:
The text "CattyKid" and "Rough Riders"
The colors brown, white, and gold (plus any other you see fit)
THIS LOGO, without the bars at the top and bottom
