Just to let everyone know, I am the author of this article on AltHack.com. It has been mislabeled everywhere it has been posted. This Article is PART I of III. The idea is to route the NES controls through an existing Xbox Controller (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, START, SELECT(BACK),A,

and use Push Button Switches for the additional buttons housed in a customized project box (R.TRIGGER, L.TRIGGER, R.THUMB, L.THUMB, X, Y, BLACK, WHITE). The NES Controller is hooked up to the Project Box via the PS2 Connector, and the Project Box is hooked up to the Xbox via the cord off the modded Mad Catz Controller. I divided the Article in Parts to give people the chance to get all the things they need to perform the mod, and I figured the span of 3 days wouldn't be too bad.
BTW. I don't appreciate being considered a theif. I've received an email saying I "stole" images of an NES PCB for use in this mod. In fact, the accusing person(s) has sent me a link to what I have taken, and quite frankly it looks as though someone got out a box of Crayola and instructed a small child to draw an NES PCB. I used a program called InkScape for my diagram of the NES PCB. It is completely vector and further proof can be shown if need be.
Part II of this Article will be up shortly today and Part III should be up tomorrow showing the completed mod. If anyone deserves credit they will receive it in Part III, and quite frankly the community of Xbox-Scene as a whole deserves the credit, because without them I wouldn't even know where to start with any form of Xbox Modding.
Thank You,
Jordan Roberts
Your probably being dense on purpose, but the "thief" part comes from the fact you present all this like it's your idea, while there was a tutorial posted for amiga then genesis YEARS AGO, not to mention the several people from xbox-scene forums who have made similar hacks and posted pictures.
