For my friends around the globe, the recent surge of ultra-conservativism in the U.S. has spawned the ribbon magnet-a nod to the ribbons tied 'round the trees of families with loved ones serving in WWII. Now we have cheapened it just like we have everything else. There is a ribbon magnet for everything these days. Well, this is my own custom-made ribbon magnet. I wear it proudly on my Ford!
