Okay, now we all know the problems that the US has been having with our space shuttle, right? Anyway, I was watching the news tonight and they referred to it as a "flying trashcan."
Why, you may very well be asking?
It appears that there was 2.5 tons of trash on board the International Space Station. We, the United States of America, in all our great wisdom, had 2 choices. 1, we blast it off into space where it continues for infinity (not really, but what the hell, it's space and supposedly expanding at the speed of light, but that is some deep stuff that would take a long time to understand, intertwined with Big Bang shit, which could cause a religious argument and seeing as this is the comedy forum it is nothing I want to get in to), or 2, we take it down to the Earth inside the shuttle!
Guess what we chose. That's right. Let's take it down to our already polluted Earth so that we can toss it in a dump somewhere, if it doesn't burn up in the atmosphere with the shuttle, God I hope they get back alright.
What does you guys think about that ^^^?
