The normal 3 partions are,
  • BOOT
  • ROOT
  • SWAP
Boot stores the files needed for boot.
Root is were all information is stored.
And Swap is to help save ram.

hahah this guy cracks me up.

I think my favorite part was calling lilo a virus.  Yeah, because all bootloaders that allow you to boot to winXP or linux must be a virus.

I love how linux can be so evil yet millions of companies run servers on linux because it wont crash every other day and need a reboot like a MS system.

I am thinking about printing out this post and giving it to my operating systems prof. for a good laugh.

The main perk of xbox?  It's not modding, it's not the hard disk, it's not network capabilities...it's the xbox games.  A Linux Xbox can't play Xbox games.

I just wanted to add that LINUS TORVALDS (not linyos, or whatever you called him) is NOT from Russia, he's from Finland. Just had to add this as some might take his words for true.

laugh.gif that was greatness. lilo is a virus now? oh noes!!!!11111 im glad i installed grub. and it was even funnier because i stared at the dudes name in the original post that "created" linux and i was like, thats one weird ass spelling of it.
