The blanket is there as a protective shell.

And actually.. Here's my walking poodle mod... http://www.aei.ca/~krill123/lamp.htm

What was done: The guts of the poodle were removed and xbox components added. As you see in some pictures, the poodle has a wire coming out of it.. These are the controller, A/V and power cables.

This xbox is one of a kind and was given a special dish to acquire distant satellite signals. Check it out.
