To make things much easier for us, I think the next Xbox system should have a selection in the MS dash to copy games. It will cache the game to the HD, and then you would insert a blank DVD and the game would copy. So, you won't need a DVD burner nor a modchip. MS will put their code on the backup so it will work in all Xboxes.

But, to make sure people don't abuse this, before the system copies the game to a blank DVD, it will say "Are you making this backup for YOUR own collection?" and you would just hit the button for 'Yes'. If you select 'No', then Xbox will just reboot.

Sounds like a good idea. If people aren't using this service for their collection, the Xbox will just reboot.

I might send this to MS.
