Swapped Dodgy Power Supply With A New One, And Now
« on: February 09, 2006, 09:35:00 PM »

Ok, as the title says, I've replaced my crapped out power supply with a new one.

Once I load my xbox up, and either load a game, or let it sit at the main menu screen, after a while, the controller won't respond.

If I do load up a game, i just continually get that games 'controller not inserted' error.  I can press start sometimes, and it will continue to play, and then a little while longer, bang, the error message is back.

Any takers on this one?

I had this problem once...on mine it turned out to be a short in the cable...ended up finding an old mad catz controller, took out the cable and put it in mine and it has worked fine ever since....
