Fried Video

i had to solder a point next to the video output slot on the bottom side of the xbox mobo for a reset switch. everything worked fine for a few months, and now all of a sudden, video will not display. sound still works, just no video. i think the video card or something is fried. there seems to be a little bit of corrosion or something (white stuff) around the point i soldered. do i need a whole new mobo or what are my options?
