Blake are you gothic? I would have sworn you would have been one of those kids who go to church 4 days out of the week?

a lot of people are goth these days (especially x-boxers biggrin.gif )
don't worry, it'll be the norm in a few years or so.

A tax on 'fatty foods' has been proposed in Australia too (no mention of games).

What kind of lunatic would come up with this idea?....... What is the extra money actually gonna be used for?.....
Mabye they are planing on having Lypo police going around selecting overweight persons for a government funded 'Lyposuction Program'?.
Or is it going to be like the no smoking T.V Ad program....I can just see it,  they have an overweight person scoffing down on a box full of doughnuts with a voice saying 'look at what those doughnuts are doing to you!' (while zooming in on the stomach).

Opps I forgot one option!, mabye it's to fund a BIT of a payrise for the HARD WORKING pollys?

What a genious maneuver this idea is!.....NOT!

fyi, i'm asian, and asians are known to be skinnier than other races. my whole family, aunts, uncles, cousings, etc. are skinny. NONE are fat. and no, i don't want ALL fat people to die.... just some of them rolleyes.gif

First, way to stereotype yourself and an entire race of people. Thats like a black man saying all blacks love fried chicken.

Second, Sumo Wrestlers. tongue.gif

My question is what if someone buys Dance Dance Revolution. That game can't make you fat! They should offer some sort of tax write off for that.

it's not a stereotype if it's true!  biggrin.gif

seriously, it's all about diet. in vietnam, we don't have a lot of fatty foods. rice, chicken, dog, and white noodles is basically what you eat. so, we're skinny. it's like saying that all africans have dark skin. that's a stereotype, but it's usually true.

about DDR, my friend plays that game all the time, but after he's done, he eats more than he usually eats...lol... he's gained more weight after he started playing DDR. crazy huh?

They forget that not every fat person is that way from lack of exercise...some diseases fuck with your body in such a way that the body builds up fat...

Yeah, that's what they all say.

I know there are a few with diseases like that, but only very few fat people have a valid excuse like that.

Yes he is.
I'm the skinniest damn person in the world. And if video games make you fat WTF happened to me??? Could I just raise up my wrist and not be taxed? I got to be taxed because some fuckass can't do anything to themselves?

If anything that money should go to feed the needy not help Fatfucks.

Then I could see some logic in it. Fat people have no motivation in general, That's why they're fat! There's no program to make fat people have motivation. Only certain fat people will do something about their weight and that's after a doctor tells them parts of their bodies are going to stop working.
There's no way I'd stand for that tax. They should do your end of the year taxes by weight then, shouldn't they? I mean their's no social heathcare so why the tax? It's not because that fat people are a liability, it can't be. If America wants our people to lose wieght they need to start morning exercize in the class rooms. Just like other nations of the world.
Who's in charge of New York now? Op, There's your answer. Anyway I hope that tax goes through so every one in New York "what the hell is going on around here"
