X-tender Hydra 2 Problem With Drive Booting

Hey guys, I was just wanting to see if anyone else has experinced any problems when using the x-tender hydra 2 case mod.... I have a 160GB Seagate and it will not boot from the drive I get the error code 7 and red and green light flashing. It boots from the original WD and a 40GB WD that I have but not the Seagate.. I have tried all combinations of pin settings. And even tried switching cables. Is this a knows problem? Are there any solutions? Thanks.
