I Got My Seagate 100 Gb

Thats probably because your boot priority is set to look for the HDD first.

Go into your BIOS, go to your boot set up, when you see your HDD as 1. click on it, hit enter, and then itll show you options of diff drives, just find your CD ROM drive and put it in the 1st spot. then save and reboot.

when you restart your computer and the screen is loading and still black press, f1, f2, or del, or sometimes esc.

It all depends on the computer.

My computer is f1, so try them.

Once change other things in your BIOS though, just change what i said. If you mess around with your BIOS and mess something up you can screw your whole comp.

Did that and my disk still doesnt boot wth??????? Im real sick of this crap stupid xbox I just want my damn harddrive workin

does anyone know why the disk is not booting? Is there any other tools that do the job cuz I cant seem to boot slayers or Xbox HDM.......

Well I tried the linux disk in my sisters computer anddidnt work either so im gonna put the hard drive situation on pause................. sad.gif

ok finnally got it working Using slayers and the HD is formatted. I dont think the evo x is working rite....
I hate that dash so How do I make it boot to avalaunch when I turn my box on?
