i need to know this for a health project...is it possible to get a sexually transmitted disease if you drink your own semen???

note to mods...im really serious...helath project and i cant find the info anywhere on the net

i have no idea, my friend is in Med. school and he said some kid had an STD in his eye, u can imagine how that'd happen

about drinking, prolly possible but i'm no expert (absolutely no experience

uh...if you have herpes you probably can spread it to your mouth...and jasonmvt has a good point...you already have it...

Yup, the only issue would be if it is a disease that affects you orally or even in your gastric system (can't think of any at the moment). But you can't "get" a disease from your own semen. In any case, genital herpes is spread from open sores, rather than semen, I think. Pretty sure genital warts are the same way...and all the gonorrhea's, AIDS, and syphylis types are pretty much either you got em or you don't.

I wouldn't take it up as a hobby, tho.

If this really is a project, then your teacher is trying to catch you out (can't catch something you already have). Although, I guess in theory if you had an std, bottled your spunk up until you got rid of the std and then drank it, you could re-infect, but it's a pretty stupid question imho.

Seriously though, as far as i know it is to do with the fluids that your penis area contains so i would say yes to that because if you have sex with a lady that has aids and she gets pregnant that child in her will have aid's so i say yes to that!
