Reason:
These are the people that bring a stigma to modding, and mod-chips in general. These are the people that make MS$ and Law Enforcement up the anty with laws that encroach upon our freedoms.

It is not so much about Piracy, as it is about Stupidity.  mad.gif

I agree that unwanted attention is not something we want and people like that just screw things up for the rest of us.

Taken down thanks for me!

But anyways, he was selling a 120 GIG XBox formatted HD with 10 games, EvolutionX, Xbox Media Player, BoXplorer, and XBCopy for.....

$700! As Buy it Now. Although the starting bid was $300, $700 is just ridicolous.

Damn. I wish I saw that. Recently, I sold my Xbox on Ebay. It was modded, and had a larger HD, but I kept it quiet. And it did reach the end of auction and sell. For a very reasonable price. Of course, the only questionable software offered with it was the code on the modchip. I wouldnt leave anything on the HD.

I just listed it as having a larger HD. THen the emails rolled in and i told them what Modchip. In fact, I gotta update my Signature now.

Don't forget the fact that he was stating that you'd never have to buy a game again with the homebrew tools he had on the hdd. Makes me sick to my fucking stomach that some dipshit would be as stupid like that (or is that the T-Bone steak I had at work? Not a bad steak, just a lot of steak.) and give the mod scene another notch on the bad rep.

I don't know about you but $700 buy it now sounds quite expensive. As for the Vokal4 auction he was selling a non-existant modchip and I don't think anyone deserves to be scammed.

ok, lemme clear this shit up. the reason i made the auction was just for a joke in an irc channel (i wont say). even the ops put it in the topic cause they thought it was funny. second of all, dont fuckin credit urself with shit cause i closed the auction before they even shut it down so dont go actin like ur DETECTIVE JOHN KIMBALL. and if you guys think i was scamming shit then if u knew anything u wud know that i retracted all bids. lastly, why are u so fuckin worried, if u aint dumb then u shudnt be worried about the morons who did bid. those morons should know how to do their research

-ps, i got perfect feedback on ebay so kiss my ass BIATCHS, im legit

Seems that it is our destiny to watch out for these kind of auctions. Anyone remember Vokal4 (one of our own members  mad.gif ) selling the supposed team sofer modchip on ebay. Thank goodness I reported it before the auction ended.

vokal is not a scammer so dont accuse him of anything, he didnt want anyone to bid on that, some stupid noobs jumped the gun and bidded on it. He had no intention to get a bid. It was mearly a joke and he doesnt need you accusing him of trying to rip people off

Well my bad but lets face it that's pretty F@@@@@ UP to do something like that (Vokal4) but I'm glad to see you closed it early. How were we supposed to know it wasn't someone trying to scam people with a fake modchip. I wasn't the only one who thought it was a scam. Oh well
