Let's see here:
1: Who ever made the rule that a game console could not have hardware resembling the inside a computer? Secondly, I don't find the xbox case cumbersome in size, AT ALL.
2: Whether or not the games "suck", varies from person to person, so you can't really use this as a basis for an argument. It is an OPINION. I liked the N64 games too, so this whole paragraph is void in my book.
3. Who cares about the controller. You can buy a mad-catz, or a "S" controller if it is too big for you. Maybe your hands are too small, and we all know what that means!
4. I bought my xbox because it was NOT Sony, not because it WAS MS... Also, the Typical Xbox owner wants more from his console than JUST games, e.g. DVD, XBMP, homebrew, etc. Why is the need for a console with great power, a "bad" thing? Who cares who made it, that is not the point!
5. PC, console, it is all just wires, circuits, transistors, etc... Who cares HOW they make it, as long is it works... And why not take advantage of readily-available industry standard parts, in an effort to reduce the cost of a high powered system?
6. In contrary, what makes a great system IS great hardware. You have to have the hardware in place before the software can be worth a damn. Since MS put the hardware together, it is up to game developers to take advantage of it...
7. Too expensive? The consoles are all pretty much priced the same, and with the Xbox you get about 100 features the other consoles do not offer. (Provided you install a mod-chip, of course.)
Summary:
-------------------------------------------------
This is the most poorly written argument against the Xbox I have ever seen. This individual is disturbed, and needs to do some more research before displaying his/her views to the world. What a disgrace to the human race... As such, I am assuming this entire site is meant to entertain, not actually convey someones real opinion(s).
