Hey 1st ofall just saying didn't even know this forum was herelol

anywaz i have this stero deck in my jeep but the cd player and tape deck is not working so wht i wanted to do i wire up my ipod to the deck

bascailyl wht i was going to do is cut off the ends of a ear phone and solder one end to some part in the deck and plug the other end into the ipod

the problem is i don't now where inputs are for my stero deck

most decks dont have inputs. what make/model deck do you have?

there was a guy over on the12volt.com forums that was trying to do this with an older gm radio.. i'm also playing around with the same idea for an older honda tape deck. basically, it's pretty complicated and takes a bit of know-how, as they aren't designed for this sort of thing from the factory (imagine that?)

i'm guessing it's stock since you said it's both cd and tape.. but even then that's odd since most chrysler decks are either or, not both. is it stock? what's the year make model of the car?
