Man you guys are lucky... here in Newfoundland you get your permit/learners at 16, wait a year and get your license (at 17), then lose restrictions such as midnight curfew after another year, making you a fully licensed driver at 18

Same here in Jersey. Except the cops don't care what you do when your 17.

Well its not like cops can pull you over just because they think you're a provisional anyways. As long as you dont break any traffic laws they usually wont pull you over. Not that I'm condoning all of this anyways.  biggrin.gif

I don't look too old, so I might get pulled over if he thinks I don't have a licence.

My parents checked a box saying I have to take an additional test before recieving my licence.  Im going to assume that it's a road test.  I should be able to pass it, I should go practice my parallel parking lol.

That's stupid, you shouldn't be allowed to have alcohol in you  at all when your driving.

People can hardly drive completely sober.... why should anyone allow them two beers on top of that

Ok, I just got back from getting it.  biggrin.gif

It was the DPS by the way, not the DMV.  Department of Public Saftey.
