First Car Suggestions

I know you guys have seen these threads numerous times, but bare with me.

So I've finally decided that it was time to go ahead and start digging through the web for reseach on some decent car suggestions. So here's my scenario.

- Around $3.5k cap
- First car
- Needs decent gas mileage
- City driving
- Young driver


I'm not looking for anything big, or anything incredibly fast. Just something to take me to and from work, and to drive around the city. I'm not really picky on companies, I'd say the only thing I'm ruling out at this point is a box'y framed car. I want curves, that's all. I'm not looking for a new'ish car either. I'm 19, a first time driver, and live in the inner city so insurance is going to be a bitch. Every little bit helps.

Since your criteria and my ex's are pretty near identical I figured it'd make just as much sense to see whats already been posted.
