So basically I've been searching for a supra on some car websites, and I recenetly came across a suprisingly cheap twin turbo. This is where the warnings come in:
1. I look at the picture, and one of the pictures looks semi familiar(like i had seen it on a supra website or something), but every feature on the car looks the same in each picture (i.e. rims, paint, etc)
2. The only contact info the seller provides is an email
so i decide to email him anyway and see what he says

All services has been made at a Toyota Service. The car has 89 000 miles on it, the title is clear,so,there is no damage on it. .I'm the 3nd owner of this vehicle i bought the car from Texas
I also sent you few pics of the car as attach files, please open them. The car has a manual transmission. It's a 6 speed manual Twin Turbo . The car has power locks, power windows, power mirrors, a real spoiler, a brand new custom cd/ am/fm/ radio that flips down. ( i also have the radio that comes with the car if you prefer that). The car has been garage kept and the paint shows it.
I also have a freshly bored block 87mm, NEW greddy rods, NEW greddy pistons, and a crank with less then 5k miles on it polished and ready to go, that I will offer to the buyer first to purchase if they buy the car.
I want to let you know that I have few buyers who are very interested in buying the car, so in case you want to buy it asap, please emai me back ASAP.

Hello (removed)
Thank you for your quick response
So far the car sounds great and i am very interested in it, however,
before I can make any offers or even begin to think about buying the
car I need the car's VIN number. It can be found under or on the
windshield, under the drivers door, in the engine compartment(usually
on the quaterpanels or printed on a sticker on the radiator), and
sometimes in the trunk. Having the VIN number will allow me to check
previous owners, manufacture date, vehicle specifications, and
crash/theft history. Thank you for your time.
I obviously want a VIN number, and tell him where he can find it

I wrote some additional info about the deal because I received a lot of offers for this car and I want to select my buyer.
The car is located in San Martin, California but don't worry I will pay shipping to your house. I have to tell you that I recently moved to Birmingham, United Kingdom due to work and family. I lost my job and now the bank knocks at my door to pay the rate for the house I bought so I really need to sell the car fast to solve this issue.
The price is $5,500. As this is a large purchase I suggest using a third party to complete this purchase. For safety reasons I think that the most important thing, when we make a deal over the Internet, is both of us to have 100% protection in case of fraud or anything else.
I had the car listed on a couple of websites and I want to finalize the deal through a third party escrow agent that will provide 100% protection for buyer and seller.
We will use Ebay's Secure Payment Center to handle the funds. They will also offer you a 5 days inspection period with money back guarantee. I have a $20,000 insurance policy with them so We will be both refunded in case of something happens. As soon as the payment will be made I will take a plane to US and take care of the rest of the things ( shipping of the car along with the title ).
This is how the deal works:
1.The Seller will open the transaction --> 2.The buyer has to make the payment to Ebay's Payment Center and they will deposit the money into their secure escrow account --> 3. The seller will ship the item to the buyer and he has 5 days to inspect it -->4.The buyer will contact Ebay and will notify them if he is satisfied or not --> 5.Ebay will release the money to the seller(in case the buyer is satisfied) or will refund the buyer(in case he is not satisfied).
If you agree with my terms please send me your full name and address so I can open a case with Ebay. Remember that time is an issue for me and I received many emails regarding the car, so please contact me ONLY if you are interested
I will wait your reply.
PS : Don't forget to send me your full name and address.
Um did i not just ask for a VIN? im not willing to even look at the car without getting a VIN first
heres the part that really makes me feel like im being scammed
