not sure what your talking about just went through every car on the toyota.jp website (was a bitch since i dont know japanese) and saw no supra, only sports car was the mrS (comparable to the mr2 over here)

the only thing i found was the '07 concept picture

EDIT: the latest model i could find was a 99 supra (japan) though it was identical to the 98

That's an alright design and all but does anyone else see Eclipse in that design mixed with a lil Solstice?

Yeah, a bit of the newer eclipse in that one.  I wonder if this Supra is going to go on a diet or if it will still be a lardass.   laugh.gif

if they are still making supras in japan(highly doubt) it would still be a bitch to import it back to the us.

Yup, we would be doing the same kind of conversions that they have to do on the skylines.

just to clear up some confusion here...

the supra ended production for export in 98 (meaning no supras were shipped out of japan after that point) and then shut down completely in 2002.

shame too, cuz it was one of the sweetest damn cars ever made..  love.gif

Yeah i heard the new supras wont even be a toyota, but instead be under the Lexus name. Might not be true but if it is expect a HUGE price tag.

Exactly what I was thinking. But putting it under the Lexus name would suggestively make the price more justifiable.

Well those were MY big words for the day, haha.

The Supras were not importe after 98' due to the lack of sales because of the price tag, it was the one and only Toyota which had a hefty price tag which drove some people away.
Ther is no rock-solid information yet available on the newer Supra, just alot of rumors.... but if/when it comes out, it will not be cheap. The Supra has proven itself in the many years now...which is an advantage for Toyota now if they end up releasing another one with a hefty price tag.
