You argue autoX is "real" racing and obviously FWD cars are better suited to it since thats what people use. Certainly couldn't be something as simple and logical as most people can't afford a car specifically for auto X so just drive their daily driver. And those who do have money may go to the next level and get in some of the real tracks. There are plenty of cars I'd rather have then my Camaro. But for the money I challenge you to beat it performance wise. I liked both of my past 2 cars more. Neither were domestic V8s.

There is an advantage to having an under powered wrong wheel drive car in the snow, I could do my hill safely, and have before, driving the speed limit (speed limit is 35 I normally hit 60 on it) because I know the hill and I also know my car. Once I can find a decent paying job I will be driving a rwd or awd car, but I will always have a fwd unless I find a cheap awd car for in the snow.
