Skylines are way too over rated. EVERY new video game has them as monsters. Theyre not bad cars, but far from the super car that everyone seems to think they are. As far as imports that are worth something. How bout a Supra TT? Fairlady Z? May as well add a few others to the list.

Yes they are the monsters that everyone thinks they are. For one reason, AWD. I know of a ton of 1000+ HP skylines, and also supra's, but skylines have AWD so they will more than likely always launch faster. In a AWD car you can go to the redline and launch, try that in an awd and all you do is ruin your tires. The twin turbo's are nice too.

One huge problem i have with skylines is their look. I dont think they are ugly by any measure but if im paying for a high end exotic sports car i want one that doesnt look like a family sedan crossed with an SUV. No one excpet car nuts would even look twice at a skyline.

Plus i dont care how many 1000hp skylines youve seen, im not debating what could be made from one. I am just stating that in stock form there are better cars to chose from with less hassle or getting one.
