One of my buddies Has owned a scion tc since it came out and he has had no problems with it at all.  Scion is owned by toyota which is one ofthe most reliable car makers on this planet.  So one would assume that if toyota is good scion is too.  My dad had a 97 camery with just about 100000 miles in it and had never replaced a single thing in the car not even the brakes.  That car never saw the inside of a repair shop beside from inspections.

Definately a RWD car. Though my guess is that every Probe youve seen to date is FWD. That's Fallguys 1st gen PGT. (Matt). It's obviously a hell of a project, and it's now RWD.

Anyways, on a final note, the only Mitsu engine i've had experiece with was the 2.6 liter.  It was in an 84 Dodge Caravan and it was damn near bulletproof.  It actually had over 300k on it before it threw the timing chain and roasted a head-gasket.  Other than that, it ran great the entire time we had it.  So theres my one-sided biased opinion on the subject smile.gif

My only question is if miysu engines are so horrible than why does crhysler (Dodge, etc) depend on them so much? Yud think they would use someone elses engines if the didnt work very good.

My mother has a 2002 Sebring and it has a  mitsu engine and is fine (atleast so far). So is my 3000GT (So far) and its over 10 years old.

Considering Scions are almost a brand new line (at least here in the US) then we can't really get a true picture of what they are like until 5-10 years down the road.  Also, even if it is made by Toyota it certainly is an economy line version.

well.. the scion tc is supposed to be a really reliable/fun car.. it has the inline 4 camry engine, with 160 hp and 163 ft/lb torque.. you can also get a small super charger for it.. to boost it to 200 hp.. thats pretty powerful for an economy car if you ask me..

well.. we aretn getting a new car. unless the dealership gives us a camry for 18,5 out the door.. ha.

as for probes and mitsubishis.. i could care less.

i got a cardomain too.. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2067870

check it out, and tell me what you think of my celica
