there is some 2.5L turbo that you can somewhat easlily swap in to a 240sx.

I had no problem with the TT inline 6 swapped into a 240sx.

TT's a 2.6.  The 2.5 is a single turbo more economical option.

How much did that cost you?

About 18: car, transmission, engine, and work.  cool.gif

Did you do it all yourself?  Also, did I understand this correctly that you have a skyline engine in your 240SX?  blink.gif

Yes, it's an RB26DETT engine with an RB25 transmission.

My usefulness under the hoods stops just after replacing the freon, I didn't do any of the work myself.

So it was about $18K total for the car and the conversion?  Not a bad exchange considering what a well used R32 goes for here in the US.  The '95 and newer 240SXs look pretty good too.

Yeah, they're pretty sharp.  I wish Nissan hadn't stopped exporting them to North America, the S15 model is great.  Damn the rising demand for SUVs...

dry.gif .   I have no problem with people getting SUVs who actually use them (go offroad alot, camping, ect.).  However, the lady who is driving the Lexus SUV and just got back from the Nail Salon who hasn't spent a night outdoors in her life, just pisses me off.  I was hoping rising gas prices would help cure America's fad-obsession with those gas-guzzlers, apparently it hasn't.   dry.gif.   Anyways, I know this is gonna sound dumb but your 240SX is still rear-wheel drive, right?

I personally would think the person who had their lexus out on the trail would be the retarded one...

While I'm a bit skeptical of you owning a 240 w/ that swap Ill put that aside and ask the only question that comes to mind......WHY????

A 280HP AWD car with improper weight distribution is ok I guess. But I wouldnt pay 17K for one when I could build a DSM with double that HP for half the money..... Using conservative estimates.
