I like those cars, They are so damn nice inside

I nkow what you mean, my older supra had pop up headlights.. which was the 3rd gen,... I started and run the website http://www.supramania.com which is the largest forum for mk3 supras, which is why I find funny that that tool said I lack basic car knowledge  laugh.gif

My bud dan is more capable of setting up an onlie forum then me about cars. I know cars. He knows nothing about them, but is VERY good with computers. Running an online forum really proves nothing.

I still think your car is nice tho.

a stock supra or skyline will smoke a 3000gt but have read that the vr4 is potentially the most capable (as a track car too) of the 3 if you wanna put the time and money in, although looking at some of the time attack skylines around im not really sure if i believe that.

as for the wrx deal... where i live there isnt a lot (read none) of riced out ones so i guess i havent gotten sick of them yet.  I agree however that the headlights were butt ugly untill 04, but i quite like them now.

aanndddd... ya i guess a evo is a glorified DSM but that is a pretty kickass platform to glorify.

Skylines aren't exactly easy to come by, and I still prefer tha body style of tha 3kgt over a supra.  I'll have ta look for some track times a lil later though.

it just that all the wierd crap on the mitsu makes it stupid heavy, by weird stuff i mean the suspension, adjusting wing.. bla bla bla,
i would guess that if you looked at course times you would see it fall much further behind the supra and GTR

That weight is what you get when you have AWD and AW steering.  But like I said... I still prefer tha style smile.gif
But if you REALLY wanted it lighter, I'm sure you can.

AWS means nothing at higher speeds. It's a feature that seems like it's there more to sell cars then make them better.

Got a '93 Geo Metro 4-door hatchback (and isn't currently running). And for those not in the know, Metros (along with Pontiac Firefly and Chevy Sprint (and probably another car)) are nothing more than rebadged Suzuki Swifts. Got a mod wishlist as long as my arm, with one of them being an engine transplant with a Suzuki Swift GT(i) engine (1.3L 4-cyl DOHC) with matching 5-speed manual transmission and either a stage-1 or stage-2 turbocharger, because 55hp/58 ft-lbs from a 1.0L 3-banger sucks...

Yes and no.  Some people just prefer to have a car that is capable of a quick launch and AWD vehicles clearly have an advantage in that department.  I for one care more about beating somebody off the line then trying to do a 1/4 mile in 10 seconds or less.

He was talkin' about tha steering, but that's true too.  It's REALLY hard to spin ur tires at tha line with it (although not impossible either wink.gif )
