WRXs look like crap to me. And too many people have one. Id rather have the new Legacy. Or the older 2.5RS in 2 door form. OR a 91 Legacy turbo 5 speed.....

That's what I meant by over done.  Everyone's like "Hey check out that WRX over there with tha carbon fiber hood and turbo chargers!" as I sit there and go "Yeah, my next door neighbor has that same one..."  Whatever though... it's all in preference  smile.gif

BTW, VR4s are heavy as hell. A better highway cruiser than a 1/4 mile machine.

At least they're stylish and quick (all wheel drive and stering comes in handy) and very easily upgraded.  But of course u'd wanna rebuild the engine to handle all that power though.  So if you feel like doin' that you can easily beat a high end Porche (not tha carerra gt, lol)... I'd link you to tha videos I saw of a few instances but that site doesn't have tha videos public anymore  sad.gif

I cant stand the head lights on the WRX. If Im gonna spend that kind of money im going to make sure I dont end up with what I consider an eye sore in the Drive way. I like my Probes looks. Ive got this thing for flip up headlights.

To each his own. The weight of the VR4 is my complaint. You don't see nearly as many pulling low 1/4 times as you'd expect mostly due to the weight. Not saying it's a bad car, but just a bit heavy. Plus they suffer the same reliability issues as most other Mitsu turbo beasts. It's really too bad.

And I think the WRX looks like a bug or something. I just can't handle the looks. And It's becoming the new "tuner" car meaning your WRX will be in a sea of fart canned, wing toting, cars.....

But yeah... that's why I meantioned that you'd wanna rebuild the engine with upgraded turbos.  But it's still my favorite practical car (anything below 30grand) I'd take it over a 3series BMW anyday biggrin.gif
