some of that triptronic stuff is a bunch of crap though... most of them are just a manually controlled automatic trans, i guess there is more control but you still have the powerloss of a slush box. There is one company though (I think it is audi but dont quote me) that developed a tranny that is set up like that (ie auto, or bump shift mode) however it is done with 2 clutches one ring and then the center and one of them controls gears 1,3,5 and the other 2,4,6 or reverse or both (dont remember). and ya anyways it is a pretty slick setup.
oh and arnt the paddle shifters of say a fararri air shifting an manual trans?
and finally.. cool car, i like that they come with hid lights.
