well for steering you'd have to create something on your own cause you know how those shopping car wheels turn... this is a basic idea

well if you want it to steer than youd have to do a lot lol... unless you want to like take forks, wheel, and handle bars off of a bike and like hide it in the middle of the shoping cart and make it so the real shopping cart wheels are like a 1/2 in off the ground... then it would steer like a bike lol

just take one from a local gorecy store maybe at night or something and you can always buy some go kart plans like this http://easykarts.com...d/?hop=rallyrac and then use it to make the front steering for the shopping cart and you can search google for "go kart plans" and get the cheapest or whatever ones easier

Finding a shopping cart will be the easyest part. Show me your frame plans and I will add steering to them. I dont recommend using scooter brakes on a Kart, they will heat up and be destroyed after their first use. Use hydraulic disk brakes off a motorcycle, the motor needs to be mounted on a flat piece of steel or somthing stable. You sound like you just want to hack up a scooter and glue it to a shopping cart, cheap......yes, relieable? probably not. I have made a few go carts so I have a good idea what needs to go where. Show me pics of what you plan on using and I will do my best to make it work for you. Are you in CA?
