How To Unlock A Jetta Engine

thats easy, just turn the boost up on the turbo!!!

get a boost controller, i think the 1.8 T only runs on like 4 lbs of boost or something like that

welcome to the world of engine mods.......

It's not always quite that simple. You need to make sure your engine can handle the added power, that you have sufficiient fuel to stay stoich, and that the cars PCM/ECU can and will be capable of coping with the odd numbers it's gonna see with more added boost. Just do your research to know if any of this will be an issue. My Sprint can go from 5 to 12 lbs of boost with NO ill effects minus speed.  wink.gif

I sincerly hope u mean out of all the vw engines it is the easiest/cheapest, cause if u are not then i dont even know what to say to you.

At least I didn't have to be the one to say it.  wink.gif

The 1.8t isnt a bad engine. Nor is the G60. Most companies have an engine option or 2 that is decent and worth messing around with if you can find one at a good price.
