I was reading about some of the features of the upcomming windows codenamed Longhorn and the Palladium platform "to create a 'trusted' computing" enviornment and one of the things that  system will depend on hardware that has either a digital signature or a tracking number. I was just thinking that m$ is probably testing Palladium security features with XBlive to get it fine tuned before releasing it in M$ Longhorn.
