Well I might be able to beat you in my brothers mustang, but he isnt the one for driving to the limits all the time, he has an 98' lx mustang, 284 supercharged, just plain decked out car, 600 hp to the crank, and roughly 520 hp to the rear wheels.

I'm not quite sure it will just work, because the engine size will be bigger and the inside may not be big enough to hold that big of a motor, but i am not sure just a thought.

It'll fit.  The LS-1 engine model is made different for the type of car it's being put it.  He's getting the entire engine, motor, transmission, cluth set etc. from someone who had it in his 2002 Camaro.  It will still fit.

Good lord is this thread full of BS, anyway my story is true. My friends uncle has a celica (with lots of mods) and we were riding around in it one night while he was sleeping and we got up to around 185/193mph. 100% true i swear.

Oh yeah since you probably wanted to know what mods he had i will list them: Intake, New Muffler (tip), Vtec engine (well just the sticker but it practilly the same), 4 Nos stickers, Racing Seatbelts ,2 Spolilers stacked on top of each other, 2000 watt amp, 2x 12" subs, and to top it of a DVD player with TFATF playing the enitre time!

Having driven and owned a 91 Ford Taurus, I KNOW it goes 90+. Probably comes close to 100, though Im sure the tranny wouldn't appreciate it.

And that's my issue with that top speed. Even with 1000hp I don't think that car's gearing would allow you to hit 200+ MPH without changing the redline, which none of those mods do. Stock the cars top speed is circa 145MPH. Just VERY unbelievable, since cars thqt have that high a top speed are designed to have it.

And who cares. Acceleration's where it's at, and that car's got most beat hands down. And looks badass to boot. It better be black.
