I'd love to own a 1970 Pontiac GTO "Judge" with a Ram Air V engine. When I was a teenager in highschool taking autoshop. I thought that Chevy engines were the thing until a friends dad bought him a 69 Judge. He took me for a ride in that thing. It had a Ram Air III with a 456 gear. That car would pin you to the seat and you couldn't move. After that I fell in love with Pontiacs.

ok i'm cheating... but technically since the car i like was never in production it has no "real" date...  1938 is when people wanted to make it though.

If I had to pick anything American, I'd go with Wong on the GTO.  But, since I don't really care for American cars, that Mercedes Gullwing was a real beauty - but not one I would pick.

This is my favorite truck of that era (probably cause I own it)....Here is my 75 Dodge Ramcharger after a good cleanup.

4 Speed Manual NP435 Transmission.
Full Time 4x4 NP203 Transfer Case.
Dana 44 Front end and Chrysler 9 1/4 rear.
Dynomax headers
Dual 2 1/2" pipes with 40 series Flowmasters.
15X10" aluminum wheels.
33x12.50 Sidewinder Tires.
14x3" K&N Air Filter.
4" Lift.
Line-X-ed all the interior, the roof, and the bottom half, including fender wells.
