I'll take my friend's '72 Nova. I'm not sure if it was standard or SS when it was stock, but he stuck a 355 race engine in it. I don't remember what all he did to it, but he stuck lotsa $$$ into it.
A Saleen S7 is out of the question...$400k for the car, $100k of it due up front plus a one year wait.
I wish my friend didn't get rid of his '84 Mercury Grand Marquis GS...I was in line to get it, but he traded it to his uncle for a different car. It had a V8 in it and needed some body work (Dodge Ram t-boned it and left a few dents plus a broken passenger side window), but ran like a damn tank.
Guess I'll just have to rice-ify my '93 Geo Metro (I'm planning to swap in a 1.3L DOHC from an '89 Suzuki Swift GTi + 5sp manual transmission, probably add a stage 1 turbocharger (bringing the hp up to ~250)...but I need to find a damn machine shop in my area to do the engine work. I'm also looking at a body kit, scroll down to
Type II kit).
