hey, you all seem much older people and wiser, yeah i've seen the fast and the furious its just gay, but honestly however i do want a civic, no not to make it look like a god damn toy, but you know those knew hybrid electrics? are they good? cuz i heard they save you a LOT of $$ on gas and shit, then just put in a few electronics (system, built in xbox etc) and just pimp it out like that, not some god damn street race wanna be thing

Just wondering what you all think of them, and if any of you guys are street racers.

I personally think they are a bunch of young immature retards with no conscience.
They should stop watching TV and "The fast and the furious" and start understanding those guys are pro stuntman on closed circuits.

They should also learn how to drive.

Then, go on a race track if they wish to race. They are a real danger on the streets.

I don't have enough fingers to count the number of kids dying from street race per year here.
They all are under 18 and drive Civics or Integras.

It pisses me off when I have the kids in the car and some jerks are driving all over the road.

IMO these are just wana-be street racers.  Or RICERS

Little punks in civics, integras, mustangs or whatever that race from light to light on common roads are jack asses IMO.

However I am a street racer.  I also race at the local track (when its open while I am not at work). And I race SCCA Solo II.  I have allways been around racing.

Yes there is a risk with street racing. But the fact is we (the people I think of as street racers, not ricers) are more safe than you are while driving to work or school or whatever.

just wondering but alot of you are saying "So many people die" I am sorry but the media has blown it up so that you think alot of people are being killed. When in fact your chances of getting hit and killed while just driving, by someone else just driving are way higher then having any kind of accident with a street racer.

I have been around racing almost all my life but have never even heard of a fatial street racing accident. I have however lost a few friends and some family members to accedents caused by everyday people.

Racing with cars is boring ...
Why race in a boring car when you can get a much more bigger kick with a motor cycle ...

now that's REAL racing ...

bikes are fun. I will be looking to get one later this year, but I would rather race cars.  Because after I get on a 10 sec bike its a 12 sec bike. (I am a huge dude. 6' 7" 320 LBS)  Its all about HP/LB ratio wink.gif

The picture is just one that i found on the internet, mine is almost the same except i got a dual-exhaust system that's under the passenger seatbelt instead of on the right side of the bike ( same as GP500cc Professional Racers have it )  cool.gif

Now i am looking for a nice car but haven't decided what to buy ....
